When I was 22, my Mother was gently tended to by the hands of my family and I, as she arrived at her death. An initiation that continues to shape the way I move through the world. She died in sovereignty, with grace, and incredibly empowered. She planned her ceremony in its entirety; From selecting her favourite music, to choosing her crematorium.

Maria Luisa prepared herself for death with an open and courageous heart. Within this, she prepared me for life.

Being present in the birth and death portal is synonymous—both calling forth the anchored state of being. A space of co-creation as we journey together. I’m incredibly grateful to have completed Zenith Virago’s Deathwalker training, and deeply appreciate her transmissions and her craft in the profound.
